Bastei is a dramatic formation of rock pillars towering vertically for 194 meters above the Elbe River. It probably is the most popular attraction in the Saxony Switzerland National Park in Saxony, eastern Germany. I happened to pass by the place a cloudy autumn day while wandering around the area of the park. Here are the pictures I took. And here‘s the complete story of that day’s trip.
