The trail between Vytina and Nymfasia is a shorter section of the Menalon Mountain Trail in Arcadia, Greece, linking two traditional mountain villages through forested slopes and quiet countryside. Along the way, hikers enjoy views toward the historic Kernitsa Monastery, while the route also passes a charming stone bridge spanning a small river. Although less demanding than some other stages, this section combines natural scenery with characteristic Arcadian architecture and landscapes.
During our multi-day hike along the Menalon Mountain Trail in May 2026, we walked this section in about three hours. We stopped to admire the views toward Kernitsa Monastery before continuing through the forest. The stone bridge over the river became one of the memorable points of the day, and we paused there before carrying on toward Nymfasia.
