Having spent a long, tiresome day hiking the Geraneia Mountains in southern Greece on a blazing hot summer day, it was time to find some heavenly beach or another to spend the night too. By chance alone, we found this gorgeous beach on the Corinthian Gulf, named Vamvakes, which you’ll see in the few photos below. The only misfortune was that we had to share the sea with a large gathering of some malicious, purple jellyfish. One of them, as it seems until the present moment, shall be responsible for leaving yet another permanent scar on me.
