Out there… Someplace amidst the vast oceans of possibilities; somewhere and somewhen that where and when do not bear a meaning; in some fiddling, eerie corner of everything and nothing… A God is about to lay offspring.
BOOM! A new world has just erupted into existence. A bubble of squashed energy is set to expand expeditiously, laying down dimensions along its passage; dimensions that will serve as a stage for a most spectacular drama! The curtains are raised for the universal play of evolution: the birth of a God!
This bubble is basically an egg. It contains the genetical blueprint of its father and creator: a set of parameters that will extract a reality out of the torrential currents of possibilities and organize it into a superconscious system in the image and after the likeness of its replicating generator; a set of parameters that will take an elementary unit of implanted consciousness and make it into a copy of a God, abiding by one singular command: EVOLVE!
These parameters are commonly known among physicists as the natural forces, but we may well think of them as the actors of our cosmic drama.
The opening act belongs to the Strong Nuclear Force. It selects possible states for quanta flowing in the underlying field of possibilities and defines for them a determined position within our 4-dimensional stage. It prescribes to quanta a value along the four axes of our perceptional container. These newly-formed particles will function as content for a new existence and building-blocks for an upcoming reality.
But since a reality came about in the first place, you want it to be a complex yet beautiful, geometrical reality; nothing less than a divine reality… Why to exist at all if not to become a God?
Now that you have a set of building blocks for a reality, the second actor needs to come into play in order to implement the next rule of the grand program and actually build the blocks up into a meaningful reality. This actor is the Electromagnetic Force which achieves its task by adding electrons to the nuclei and stabilizing the resulting atoms into a spinning state favorable for them getting interlocked to each other in a delicate energy equilibrium. Now you have a set of Lego bricks equipped with tubes and studs that have the potential to combine into anything imaginable.
But the great trick needs still to be done. There is a certain number of additional conditions to be fulfilled before you get sophisticated shapes that can accommodate higher consciousness and imagination.
Two of the most important of these conditions are: 1) abundance of a variety of elements and 2) establishment of ideal environments for them to combine into complex patterns designed to facilitate maximal information flow.
These processes require the elaboration of matter in much larger scales than Nuclear Force and Electromagnetism are designed to perform. Another force comes along to set the parameters needed to edit reality at large. Acting over immense distances across the fabric of dimensions, Gravity sets to work amassing matter into powerhouses of concentrated energy which are to function as factories for heavy-element manufacture. These factories will come to be known as stars. Through nuclear fusion and subsequent supernovae, the universe comes to teem with a wide range of elementary parts modeled with the potential to assemble into sophisticated reality-editing machinery.
But in order for these parts to assemble, the parameters’ values need to be set in a very subtle balance. The star factories contain the high energy needed to manufacture the parts, but in order to assemble these parts into the desired end product, you need to devise external, efficient production lines.
Though a star contains as much energy as is needed for large atoms to form, at the same time, this energy is way more than enough to crack any potential complex molecules into pieces. The next stage of cosmic production needs to take place in a new type of factory. These factories will come to be known as planets.
Gravity is, indeed, an ingenious solution to the problem… Make Gravity too strong, everything will eventually collapse into a cosmic fireball of destruction; make it far too weak, everything will eventually end up in a state of frozen loneliness in some obscure corner of space… Make it precisely as strong as it is – and back it up with a set of additional, aiding parameters such as dark energy and matter… you get your ideal conditions: you have stars able to spit out large amounts of concentrated energy and produce sufficient quantities of heavy elements; and you also have planets that can stick to a stable, favorable equilibrium with a star for a period long enough to accommodate the evolution of advanced chemical systems.
The golden recipe has been executed. The real magic is about to happen! Let the era of organic chemistry commence! Welcome to the age of exponential consciousness growth! Behold the nascency of life; a God’s precursor!
The life factories across the universe are at full-speed work. After the cosmic parameters have brought the cosmos into an ideal state for life production, new agents take action to initiate the actual production.
The principal agent is called the Second Law of Thermodynamics. This comes about to dictate the ways matter will assemble in order to achieve maximally efficient energy distribution and design data-processing matter arrangements that can facilitate a consciousness experience.
All sorts of sophisticated machinery are gradually developed during the process of turning the planet-factory into a planet-brain. Through a process of experimentation and natural selection with different combinations of a wide range of elements, you successively get all the complex instruments designed to perform all the various tasks that will bring about the final product.
You see incredibly flexible additive blocks such as proteins; amazingly efficient molecule-assembling machines such as ribosomes; precise data-storage and copying devices such as DNA and RNA; ingeniously rigid and flexible casings for all that delicate machinery such as cell membranes; enormous cell communities arranging themselves into systems featuring large-scale reality-editing instruments and data processors of immense capabilities such as human hands and brains; global-scale energy-management systems such as agriculture and industry… Ultimately, you see the inception of the final result of all this evolutionary process: the emergence of a global neural system: the Internet.
Shortly afterwards, this preliminary, primitive stage in the evolution of consciousness has come to an end. The real fun is about to begin.
The universe is now crowded with massive, solar-system-scale living organisms; gigantic brains of astronomical data-processing capabilities and deep, confident consciousness; beings that are perfectly aware of their purpose; beings that clearly know they only exist so to dominate – or incorporate – the universe and become a God.
They are all ready to pursue their definite goal at all costs. They are clustered around their parent star in an exquisite pattern of refined geometry to ensure maximal energy exploitation and data management. All their data processing efforts are directed to working out the solution of one singular problem: How do you combat the last remaining scarcity: the scarcity of energy and space-time? How do you exceed all limits? How do you rewrite the parameters and recreate the universe?
To begin with, you need to become the universe.
You know you are not alone. You do, in fact, maintain regular communication channels with the other organisms of your kin throughout the galaxy. However, they are somewhat weird. They speak different languages which, most often than not, you lack the resources to effectively interpret. The variations they have followed along their evolutionary paths are as numerous as their very count. A stunning diversity of brain types have sprouted up across the galaxy, each of them pursuing its own peculiar scheme for geometrical perfection and maximum consciousness.
You do not know what they’re up to. Oftentimes, you engage in productive data-trade with your neighbors. But you are always suspicious of them. You are envious, haughty, deferential, contemptuous in your attitude towards them. In short, you are afraid of them.
As transgalactic information exchange grows thicker, the first working solutions for the light-speed problem begin to come about, heralding the golden age of exploration and giving consciousness a way out of the standstill of the last few eras.
A marvelous community is being given birth. A transgalactic civilization is being instituted. Extraordinary interactions take place between the minds of the galaxy. They fall in love with each other; they fight each other; they form vast, serene alliances and brotherhoods; they wage pernicious wars against each other… at times merging voluntarily, and at others forcibly absorbing one another, they eventually combine into larger and larger networks and organisms… until, at the end, you are only one… But you are not alone.
Your galactic consciousness has begun feeling a tint divine. But you are not yet a God. By now, you have a pretty accurate intuition of what a God is. A God is an entity by definition omnipresent, omniscient, and omnipotent… Since there is that and the other galaxy over there where you are not, you are not a God. Since that and the other galaxy hold information that you have no access to, you are not a God. Since the slightest portion of this universe is controlled by a will that is not you, you are not a God.
There must be only one presence, one mind, one will. There can only be one God.
All walls have fallen. The entire universe has united into one omnipresent, omniscient, and omnipotent brain. All matter and energy contained in the universe make a part of one mind that has one will. The very concept of scarcity is eliminated. There is no such thing as a shortage of any imaginable resources. There are no limitations. There is no perfect pattern. It’s all possible patterns at once and forever that account for perfection. You have unlocked and controlled infinity. You are a God. You are a God ready to revel in the eternity of the infinity… eternally and infinitely propagating yourself.
