Sassoferatto is town lying in the westernmost reach of the province of Ancona in the Marche region of Italy. It is located in the vicinity of the ruins of Sentinum: an ancient Roman town known for the famous battle named after it, which took place in about 295 BC between the Romans and the combined forces of the Samnites and the Gauls.
I happened to pass through this town while on a cycling trip in Italy. And I here drop you the few pictures I took in and around it. You may here read the story from that day of the trip.
