Santa Rosa de Cabal is a small town in Colombia’s Coffee Triangle, located in the department of Risaralda. It sits in a mountainous setting known for its cool climate, nearby hot springs, and agricultural surroundings. The town’s central areas, including Parque de las Araucarias and local churches, reflect a traditional Andean character shaped by coffee culture and regional life.
We arrived here as the first stop of our March 2026 road trip and stayed for a night. In the afternoon, we walked through Parque de las Araucarias and past the Santuario de la Milagrosa, letting the town unfold slowly around us. Later, we stepped out again after dark, moving through the same streets under a different light, lingering a little longer and taking in the quieter evening atmosphere.
