Santa Rita Waterfall is a forested cascade located outside Salento, reached via rural trails and secondary paths. The route passes through farmland and into denser vegetation, eventually connecting with quieter forest tracks such as Sendero El Silencio. The area is known for its humid microclimate, lush surroundings, and smaller secondary falls nearby.
We walked all the way there from Salento one morning during our February 2026 stay. After reaching the main waterfall, we continued along Sendero El Silencio and stopped at the smaller Gallito de Roca fall. I took a short dip there before heading back.
