Puerto Nariño is a small, eco-focused town on the Amazon River in Colombia, about 75 kilometers from Leticia. Known for its car-free streets and emphasis on sustainability, it sits surrounded by rainforest and waterways. The town is often visited for its calm atmosphere and access to nearby natural reserves and river landscapes.
We took a day trip here during our February 2026 visit. We spent a few hours walking through the town and nearby paths, moving slowly and taking in the surroundings. These photos come from that short walk in and around Puerto Nariño.
