A collection of pictures I took in Psarades, Prespa Lake, Greece. Browse hundreds of more photo albums from my trips around the world using the submenu above or the Photo Albums Map at the bottom of the page.
Psarades is a picturesque fishing village situated on the shores of the Great Prespa Lake, near the borders of Greece, Albania, and North Macedonia. Known for its traditional stone houses and tranquil waterside setting, Psarades is a perfect spot for birdwatchers and nature enthusiasts. The surrounding area is rich in biodiversity, with rare species of birds like pelicans often spotted around the lake. Boat tours are available to explore the lake’s secluded caves, many of which contain ancient hermitages and frescoes.
