A collection of pictures I took in La Gaulette, Mauritius. Browse hundreds of more photo albums from my trips around the world using the submenu above or the Photo Albums Map at the bottom of the page.
La Gaulette is a quaint fishing village located near Le Morne in the southwest of Mauritius. Known for its relaxed atmosphere, La Gaulette offers a glimpse into the traditional Mauritian way of life. The village is a gateway to some of the island’s best natural attractions, including the Chamarel Seven Colored Earths and the Black River Gorges National Park. Visitors can enjoy boat trips to the nearby ÃŽle aux Bénitiers, where they can snorkel, swim, and soak up the sun. La Gaulette’s proximity to Le Morne makes it an ideal base for exploring the scenic southwestern coast of Mauritius.
