A collection of pictures I took in Kyzart, Kyrgyzstan. Browse hundreds of more photo albums from my trips around the world using the submenu above or the Photo Albums Map at the bottom of the page.
Kyzart is a small village in the Naryn region of Kyrgyzstan, best known as a staging point for trekking adventures to the high-altitude Song-Kul Lake. This remote village offers an authentic Kyrgyz experience, where visitors can stay in traditional yurts and witness the rural, pastoral lifestyle of local nomadic herders. The Kyzart Pass trek is a popular route, leading travelers through sweeping valleys and lush mountain meadows to Song-Kul, one of the country’s most picturesque locations. Despite its modest size, Kyzart is an essential stop for adventurers seeking to experience Kyrgyzstan’s natural beauty and cultural heritage.
