Kleisoura is a small mountainous village in northern Greece, known for its rugged landscape and historical significance. The village played an important role during both World War II and the Greek Civil War. Visitors come here for its quiet, remote atmosphere and for hiking trails that explore the surrounding mountains. Kleisoura Monastery is another local highlight, perched on a hill and offering panoramic views of the valley below. It is a place steeped in both natural beauty and historical memory.
