Grand River South East is a picturesque village located in the eastern part of Mauritius, known for its impressive waterfall. The Grand River South East waterfall is a natural spectacle where the river cascades down rocky cliffs into a serene pool below, surrounded by lush vegetation. This area is a haven for nature enthusiasts who enjoy the scenic boat rides along the river, offering views of dramatic landscapes and the chance to spot monkeys and fruit bats in their natural habitat. The village and its surroundings offer a peaceful retreat from the busier tourist spots on the island.
