The Avenue of Baobabs, located near Morondava, is a striking landscape feature characterized by a collection of towering baobab trees lining the dirt road. These ancient trees, some of which are believed to be over a thousand years old, have become an iconic symbol of Madagascar’s natural heritage. The site draws photographers and nature enthusiasts alike, especially during sunset when the silhouettes of the baobabs against the twilight sky create a mesmerizing scene. Over time, the Avenue of Baobabs has garnered international recognition as one of the island’s most emblematic and photographed locations.
