A collection of pictures I took in Amarynthos, Euboea, Greece. Browse hundreds of more photo albums from my trips around the world using the submenu above or the Photo Albums Map at the bottom of the page.
Amarynthos, a coastal town on Evia’s western shore, combines traditional Greek charm with a relaxed seaside vibe. It’s known for its scenic waterfront, lined with tavernas and cafes, where locals and visitors alike enjoy fresh seafood and beautiful views over the Euboean Gulf. The town itself has a long history, with archaeological sites hinting at its ancient past. Though it has modernized in recent years, Amarynthos maintains a laid-back feel, with narrow streets, friendly locals, and quiet beaches just a short walk away. It’s a peaceful destination, ideal for a simple, unhurried experience of Greek coastal life.
