A collection of pictures I took in Aliveri, Euboea Island, Greece. Browse hundreds of more photo albums from my trips around the world using the submenu above or the Photo Albums Map at the bottom of the page.
Aliveri is a lively town in southern Euboea with a blend of industrial history and natural beauty. It has long been a hub for mining and power generation, giving it a distinct character compared to the island’s more rural villages. Despite its industrial roots, Aliveri has a bustling town center with shops, cafes, and a few landmarks, including the Church of Agios Georgios. The surrounding countryside features olive groves and rolling hills, while its proximity to beaches like Karavos makes it an excellent base for exploring southern Euboea’s coastal offerings.
