Nymfasia is a mountain village in Arcadia, Greece, located close to the Menalon Mountain Trail and surrounded by forests typical of the central Peloponnese. Built in traditional stone architecture, the village serves as a convenient stop for hikers exploring the region. Its central square provides a quiet meeting place and reflects the relaxed pace of village life in the Arcadian mountains.
During our multi-day hiking trip along the Menalon Mountain Trail in May 2026, we stopped in Nymfasia for a short break before returning to Vytina by taxi. We spent some time in the village square and planned to have lunch there, but the only café was closed. Even so, the pause gave us a chance to rest before continuing the day’s journey.
