Nea Makri is a small town located on the east coast of Attica and belonging to the municipality of Marathon. With its long, sandy beach and the numerous cafes, bars, and restaurants found along the beach’s length, it makes a great destination for a day trip from Athens. Here come a few pictures I took while on such a great day trip.
