La Sierpe is a waterfall and coastal rainforest site inside Parque Nacional Natural Uramba Bahía Málaga, one of the most biodiverse regions along Colombia’s Pacific coast. The area combines dense tropical vegetation, freshwater streams, and rocky shoreline landscapes shaped by heavy rainfall throughout most of the year. Even during drier periods, the surrounding forest and coastline retain the humid atmosphere characteristic of Bahía Málaga.
We visited La Sierpe during our tour through Parque Nacional Natural Uramba Bahía Málaga in March 2026 and stayed for about an hour. The waterfall was very weak during this season, but the place still felt remarkably beautiful and calm. I walked around the area slowly, taking photographs of the forest, rocks, and water while the sea and jungle blended together around the cove.
