Juan de Dios is a small coastal stop within the Bahía Málaga region of Colombia’s Pacific coast, surrounded by rainforest, tidal beaches, and the open Pacific Ocean. The area remains lightly developed, with only limited accommodation and small-scale tourism infrastructure integrated into the surrounding landscape. Like many places along this coastline, access depends mainly on boats moving between scattered villages and beaches.
Juan de Dios was the final stop of our March 2026 tour through Parque Nacional Natural Uramba Bahía Málaga. We stayed there for some time simply to rest and enjoy the sea before returning. I took a few photographs around the beach and the small resort nearby while the afternoon slowed down around the water.
