Ibagué is the capital of Tolima, located in the central Andes and often referred to as Colombia’s “Musical City.” It sits between mountain ranges and serves as a regional center for commerce and culture. Its plazas, parks, and pedestrian streets form the core of daily activity.
We stayed here for a night during our March 2026 road trip. These pictures include city views from our hotel rooftop and a stroll around town, moving through Carrera 2, Plaza Bolívar, Parque Centenario, and Parque de la Música, taking in the city as we went.
