The Geraneia Mountain Range is located between the Greek provinces of Attica and Corinthia, and between the Saronic and the Corinthian Gulfs. Its highest peak, known as Makryplagi, reaches an elevation of 1351 meters and offers some epic views of the surrounding seas and lands. Its slopes are covered by particularly dense forests for a south Greek mountain, nearly all the way to the top. The notorious wolf pack which inhabits the mountain is believed to be the species’ southernmost reach in Europe. In this album, you will see the shots I took while hiking to its top on a relentlessly hot summer day.
