Cajamarca is a town in Tolima often referred to as the “agricultural pantry” of Colombia due to its fertile lands and farming activity. It lies along a major route connecting central regions, surrounded by green hills and cultivated fields. Though frequently passed through, it offers glimpses of rural life in the Andes.
We passed through Cajamarca on our drive from Ibagué toward Montenegro. From the car, we watched the town and surrounding fields slip by, taking a few quick photos along the way without stopping.
