Argos, one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world, lies at the heart of the Argolis region in the northeastern Peloponnese. While often overshadowed by its better-known neighbor Nafplio, it makes for an excellent base or stopover with its archaeological sites, neoclassical charm, and authentic Greek atmosphere. The town is easily accessible by public transport from Athens. Below you’ll find all the information you need to carry out the trip. But if you’re looking for comfort and flexibility, you can also opt for a private transfer.
