Athens to Thessaloniki by bus
The buses to Thessaloniki depart from Pedion tou Areos bus stop (location), which is situated near the entrance of Pedion tou Areon Park, in front of the central office of Attica’s KTEL Bus Compay. The bus stop is 5 minutes on foot away from Victoria metro station. You can also make it exactly on the spot by city bus 022 and trolleybuses 2, 4, and 15.
After departing from Pedion tou Areos bus stop, all buses to Thessaloniki also stop and pick up passengers at Kifissos Bus Station (location). This is less central and harder to reach in most cases.
