A collection of pictures I took on Agios Achilleios island, minor Prespa Lakea, Greece. Browse hundreds of more photo albums from my trips around the world using the submenu above or the Photo Albums Map at the bottom of the page.
Agios Achilleios is a tiny island located in the heart of the Prespa Lakes, accessible by a floating pedestrian bridge. The island is home to the ruins of a significant 10th-century basilica, which bears the name of Saint Achilleios, a Christian saint. Surrounded by pristine natural beauty, the island offers visitors a serene atmosphere, with views of Lake Prespa and its surrounding mountains. Agios Achilleios provides a peaceful retreat and is a popular stop for those exploring the lesser-known Prespa Lakes region.
