Askio is a mountainous area located in Western Macedonia, known for its dense forests and alpine terrain. The mountain, part of the Askio mountain range, is a haven for hikers and nature lovers, offering trails that lead through lush forests and rocky peaks. The region is relatively undeveloped, making it a perfect destination for those seeking solitude and a connection with nature. Askio’s higher altitudes provide stunning views, with wildlife sightings being a common occurrence.
