A collection of pictures I took in Nea Kotyli, Kastoria, Greece. Browse hundreds of more photo albums from my trips around the world using the submenu above or the Photo Albums Map at the bottom of the page.
Nea Kotyli is a remote village situated in the mountains of northern Greece, close to the Albanian border. Historically a settlement of ethnic Greeks who returned from abroad, the village retains a traditional character, with stone houses and narrow streets. It offers a peaceful rural environment, surrounded by dense forests and rugged landscapes. The village’s secluded location makes it ideal for those seeking an authentic, off-the-beaten-path Greek experience, with plenty of opportunities for hiking and nature walks.
