Pointe du Diable, or Devil’s Point, is a coastal area located in the northeast of Mauritius, named for its rugged and dramatic landscape. The rocky promontory provides breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean, with waves crashing against the jagged cliffs. The area is steeped in history, with remnants of old fortifications dating back to the French colonial era, adding an element of intrigue to its natural beauty. Pointe du Diable is a spot for those who appreciate raw, untamed landscapes and the rich history that Mauritius has to offer.
