The Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Botanical Garden, commonly known as the Pamplemousses Botanical Garden, is located in the northern part of Mauritius. This historic garden, established in the 18th century, is famous for its vast collection of tropical plants, including the giant water lilies and various species of palm trees. Visitors can wander through beautifully landscaped paths, discovering rare and endemic plants along with impressive avenues of towering trees. The garden also features a spice garden and several ponds, making it a peaceful and educational retreat for nature lovers.
