By the southern foot of Mount Kandyli, and before the North Gulf of Euboea, there lies this little hidden paradise of Dafni you will see in the pictures below. In order to reach to this paradisal beach, one must drive on the road to north Euboea, take a left at Psachna to Politika, and thereafter continue past Nerotrivia Village to the end of the road where Dafni lies. The beach is not widely known and not easily accessible, so that it most often is rather quiet. One may also try the dirt roads and the various paths leaving upslopes from there and explore a bit of the beauty of the southern portions of Kandyli Mountain. North from Dafni, there lies some 20 km of desolate coast along the foot of the mountain, where no road leads. There is a number of beautiful, utterly isolated beaches along it, which can be reached only by trekking or boat.
